Dear Sarah,

The porch swing arrived to much fanfare and joy! We unveiled it on the backporch in all its jockey red glory, and our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson went truly wild with delight! The pillows are spectacular, and your directions are gloriously clear and direct ... we took some formal pictures of our old swing in New Hampshire this weekend when we opened our cottage, so as soon as they get them developed, we shall send them to you ... we thank you a thousand fold for keeping this wonderful art of porch sitting alive and well.

The swing is up!!! The man finally showed up and put the swing up last night. It looks and feels terrific ... we love it. Of course now I want to replace all the cushions on the outdoor furniture! I'll be sure to pass your name along to people in the area.

Sarah and Nan,

We love our swing; I have been remiss in sending pictures, too. But since I wanted to invite you both to our "Open Porch" party (similar to an Open House, but we'll be on the porches!), I thought I'd better run down and take pictures so I could include them in this email.... This party is for those who helped make our renovation project the great cottage we have today, our neighbors who put up with large trucks on our road and copious amounts of noise and also we've invited others in our area that will soon be doing similar renovations or even new construction projects. Just in case, I've included directions along with a few pictures. No one has yet to see the swing and not make a positive comment about it!

Hi...Just a quick follow up to my pc. Once we opened the box and found directions I was even more impressed with the quality of your product. I grew up on one of these Gloucester hammocks that hung on my grandparents' porch in Maine. For whatever reason the thought of the hammock escaped me for many years until we added a sleeping porch to our camp in NH...and then the recollections came back. I attempted to make one last summer (and got pretty far into the process) but then decided I would revisit it this summer on the internet. I hope that your company grows...without a middle man...you need Chronicle or someone to show your product...though don't know if you are geared up to that volume...Anyway sorry to babble but I/we are thrilled. As soon as my son and DIL move into their new house...still in the hunting phase...but they definitely want a screened-in porch...I will be ordering another...Thansk gain for an excellent product, good directions, and the promise of many hours of wonderful swinging and/or sleeping!

Hi Sarah and Nan: No, the pillows just as they are is fine. My husband LOOOVES the swing. You may be getting an order in the fall from some friends of ours in Sacramento who were here this weekend and fell in love with the swing. I was just going into lala land when Sarah called. When my 2 year old grandson goes down for his nap, I do the same or I wouldn't be standing the rest of the day.
